LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – One woman biked more than 1,000 miles across Arkansas on a quest to promote the Natural State.
Rebecca Rusch, a seven-time world champion mountain biker and adventure athlete, biked the Arkansas High Country Route trail.
This makes her the first cyclist to have biked and completed the entire thousand-mile terrain in just eight days.
“I was surprised,” says Rusch. “I definitely fell in love with Arkansas and it was more diverse and more exciting and more beautiful than I thought it was going to be.”
Rusch hopes to attract more people to see the Natural State as a place for adventure and fun.
