City of Jacksonville appoints new Chief of Police

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — The City of Jacksonville announced Thursday, August 20 a new Chief of Police for the Jacksonville Police Department.

Jacksonville Mayor Bob Johnson appointed Brett Hibbs, a 25-year veteran of the Jacksonville Police Department.

Chief Hibbs is a Jacksonville native, and has received many achievements within law enforcement.

“We here at the Jacksonville Police Department look forward to serving and making a difference
in our community,” Chief Hibbs.
