LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - CHI St. Vincent announced that over the next several months, the hospital will be phasing out labor and delivery services in Little Rock. It will also phase out NICU services.
A statement from CEO Chad S. Aduddell says the decision was made because these services are well provided by other organizations in the area.
Other women's services will still be provided, including gynecology. The hospital will also provide emergency deliveries to women in active labor at the emergency department.
The Women's Clinic in Little Rock will remain open.
Labor and delivery services will continue at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs.
