LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The chair of the Institute of Global Homelessness is in Little Rock, assessing how the city can better address the issue of homelessness.
Dame Louise Casey served under four British Prime Ministers before joining the institute. She is visiting Little Rock homeless service providers so she can make recommendations on how the city could better tackle homelessness.
“The first thing to do is understand what you’re dealing with, and the second is to do something about it,” says Dame Casey. “I think we’ll help with that.”
The Institute of Global Homelessness has chosen 12 cities across the world to help. Little Rock is one of those cities.
Dame Casey will be here a couple of days.
