Lane Closures in Desha Co. Due to Hwy. 278 Drainage Work

LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) – Drainage work on Highway 278 will require lane closures in Desha County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will install a new pipe culvert across Highway 278 (N. First Street). The work will be performed near Oak Street in McGehee. During the installation, Highway 278 (N. First Street) traffic will be reduced to one lane within the work zone. Traffic will be controlled using warning signs and flaggers.

The lane closure will be Tuesday, April 7th between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using cones and flaggers.
