Komen AR Race for the Cure is Nov. 3

News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -The 25th Annual Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure will be Saturday, Nov. 3 in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock.

Breast cancer survivors, volunteers, and community leaders gathered inside the Hickingbotham Outpatient Center at Baptist Health in Little Rock today to announce details of the race.

This year’s theme is “More Than Pink,” and of course, as always, there are many ways to participate from the run/walk to Three Miles of Men.

“We encourage everyone to get involved. You may not be able to walk in the race or be at the race, but you can invest in the race,” says Herron Hickingbotham, Founding Sponsor of the Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure/Hickingbotham Investments.

This year’s goal is to raise $1.4 million to cover services for women in 67 of Arkansas’ 75 counties.
