Goodbye Beard! Donation from Pro-Bowler Cobb Forces D.J. to Shave

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — D.J. Williams has been known to do some pretty crazy things, so you had to know he’d come up with something outside-the-box for his Day of Action benefiting victims of domestic violence through Women & Children First.

This morning during KARK 4 Today, Williams put out a challenge to anyone willing to donate $1,500: make the donation and you can shave his beard on Friday’s show!

An anonymous caller pledged $2,500 but said she didn’t want to be the person to shave D.J.’s signature facial hair. The caller challenged someone else to donate the money and use the razor.

Late this afternoon, the donation came in from pro-bowler Randall Cobb!

While Cobb won’t be able to make it in person, he’s asked D.J.’s brother-in-law to come on Friday’s show and remove his facial hair.

So, say it with us: “Goodbye Beard!”

DJs day of action is all about helping victims of domestic violence. And I want to have a little fun as well even though…Posted by D.J. Williams on Tuesday, March 15, 2016

You can make a donation right now by calling volunteers in the KARK studios at 501-340-4922.
