Fayetteville Police Investigate Deadly Shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) – Fayetteville Police is investigating a deadly shooting after a man is found shot in a home. 

Police got a called around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night about a shooting at 234 S. Willow Avenue. 

Once officers arrived they found the 36-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

“The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead,” Sgt. Tony Murphy with Fayetteville Police said.

The suspect took off from the scene before officers arrived. Detectives responded to the scene, and this is an on-going investigation.
