Faith Matters: Capitol Bistro Celebrates 10 Years in LR

Faith Matters
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Restaurants come and go in the Capital City. But one family restaurant will soon celebrate ten years in Little Rock. They attribute their success to their faith.

Just steps from the State Capitol, you’ll find the Capitol Bistro, where you can always get a great sandwich and a little inspiration.

“Whether it be the music, or the products, or the love we have for people, we want that to be the platform we use to glorify God,” says owner Tom Drogo.

Drogo and his family opened the Captiol Bistro ten years ago. They love the hospitality business, but their main goal is to convey their greatest love.

“This is a platform we believe the Lord has provided for us,” he says.

And their ministry expands far beyond the business. Tom’s son and daughter raise money at the restaurant to go on mission trips. They were both in Haiti last summer, and now his daughter is headed to Lithuania.

And while owning a business isn’t easy…”We take it to Him. He provides everything as he did for the Israelites wandering the desert for 40 years. He provided for them,” says Drogo.

The Drogo’s strong faith and love for people make this much more than just a lunch or breakfast stop. We want to make this a safe haven and place of peace and of hope.

Capitol Bistro is located in the Victory Building. They’re open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.
