The Bryant School District is seeking voter approval of a 3.9 mill increase.
The money would raise $28 million for a new addition to Bryant High School.
It would include 35 regular classrooms, four art rooms, and five business/technology classrooms. Another $7.5 million would come from the state if the millage passes.
“Growth has been tremendous since I came here. You can tell by the number of kids walking around and obviously we’re very cramped as far as classrooms,” says 9th Grade Civics Teacher Chad Winters.
“I don’t know about, It seems like every time you turn around, they want more taxes,” says resident Wayne Allison.
