With summer right on the doorstep, several people are going outside and preparing their areas for activities! Michael Silva-Nash is with us from Molly Maid to give you some tips on how you can spruce up your area and keep it clean!
GETTING READY FOR THE SUMMER
KEEPING PLANTS SHINY AND CLEAN: Don’t use harsh chemicals that can bother your indoor plants. You don’t need a green thumb for this tip – only a yellow banana peel. Use the peel to add natural shine and to track the dirty in the leaves.
BE PREPARED FOR THE ROAD TRIPS: Use an empty box or container (cereal box) to keep the car clean during road trips.
KEEPING HEALTHY WHILE TRAVELING: It seems like germs are everywhere – but they especially love gas station and airplane restrooms. Don’t risk it — carry some alcohol wipes (which have disinfectant) and use those to wipe off your airplane tray, hands, and anything else the kids may have while you travel.
WASHING WINDOWS: Is it foggy outside or do you have dirt and pollen on your windows? Most likely your windows need a good scrub down! Use your swifter tool with a wet rag to first clean it, then use one with Windex to add some shine!
MAGICALLY CLEAN THE TUB AND SHOWER: Use a dish wand to cast the dirt away from the tub!
