Fayetteville, Ark. – For the fifth time this season the Arkansas Razorbacks (42-18) and South Carolina Gamecocks (36-24) will meet on the diamond with the Hogs holding a 3-1 record in 2018.
The Razorbacks won the Fayetteville Regional with a 4-3 win over Dallas Baptist on Sunday night. The Gamecocks won the East Carolina Regional with a 8-4 win over UNC-Wilmington on Monday afternoon to set the match-up in Fayetteville.
Arkansas took two of three at Baum Stadium earlier this season losing game one of the series 3-2 on April 12th before winning a double header behind the pitching of Kacey Murphy and Isaiah Campbell 2-0 and 3-0 on April 14th.
The two teams met again in Hoover with the Razorbacks winning 13-8 behind two home runs from Casey Martin and a solo long ball from Dominic Fletcher.
Arkansas and South Carolina last met in NCAA post season play back in the 2012 College World Series with the Gamecocks eliminating the Razorbacks before going on to win the National Championship.
