LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Storm Team weather radios campaign continues April 3 in Hot Springs. We’re teaming up with Arkansas Kroger stores and Midland Radio Corporation to raise NOAA Weather Radio awareness.

Our meteorologists will be broadcasting live from the Kroger store at 4407 Central Ave. starting at 4 p.m. and wrapping up at 7 (everyone’s invited to come out to meet our meteorologists and learn about weather radios).

Weather radios are the best way to stay informed during severe weather anytime, day or night, since they automatically activate when dangerous weather approaches and can be programmed for specific locations.

The Arkansas Storm Team will always keep you ahead of the storm but weather radios are a great complement to our coverage, especially during nighttime severe weather and when the power goes out.

Here’s the remaining schedule for our visits to area Kroger stores:

  • April 3 – Kroger, 4407 Central Ave., Hot Springs
  • April 10 – Kroger, 1009 W. Main St., Russellville
  • April 17 – Kroger, 305 S Whitehead Dr., DeWitt
  • April 24 – Kroger, S. St. Louis St., Batesville
