LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – This severe weather season, the Arkansas Storm Team is teaming up with Arkansas Kroger stores and Midland Radio Corporation to raise NOAA Weather Radio awareness.

Our meteorologists will be broadcasting live from Kroger stores across the state in March and April.

Weather radios are the best way to stay informed during severe weather anytime, day or night, since they automatically activate when dangerous weather approaches and can be programmed for specific locations.

The Arkansas Storm Team will always keep you ahead of the storm but weather radios are a great complement to our coverage, especially during nighttime severe weather and when the power goes out.

Here’s the full schedule for our visits to area Kroger stores (everyone’s invited to come out to meet our meteorologists and learn about weather radios):

  • March 6 – Kroger Marketplace, 16105 Chenal Pkwy., Little Rock
  • March 13 – Kroger Marketplace, 20820 I-30, Benton
  • March 27 – Kroger, 1421 Pinecrest St., Brinkley
  • April 3 – Kroger, 4407 Central Ave., Hot Springs
  • April 10 – Kroger, 1009 W. Main St., Russellville
  • April 17 – Kroger, 305 S Whitehead Dr., DeWitt
  • April 24 – Kroger, S. St. Louis St., Batesville
