Arkansan, Marybeth Byrd on The Voice

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Another person from Arkansas has made it to the next round of The Voice on NBC.

Marybeth Byrd, 18 from Armorel (Mississippi County) competed on the hit show and had three chairs turn around.

It would have been four but Kelly blocked Blake from turning around.

At the end she chose John Legend to be her coach.

We wish you good luck Marybeth!

She is a freshman at Arkansas State University.

Cory Jackson, of Jonesboro, is the other Arkansan to advance on the show. The ASU alum got a 4-chair turn in last week’s blind auditions. He also selected John Legend as his coach.
