Arkadelphia gas station robbed at gunpoint, 2 arrested in connection to case

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Two have been arrested in connection to a gas station robbery Saturday night. 

Arkadelphia Police were called around 10:44 p.m. to Dixon’s Family Store Exxon located at 3036 West Pine Street in regards to a robbery. 

A male suspect wearing a mask ran into the store with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, according to the police report. The cashier was handed over an undisclosed amount and was left unharmed as the suspect fled the store. 

On Wednesday two persons of interest were taken into custody for questioning. 

Jason Deloach, 22 and Larissa Johnson, 19, both of Hope, are in custody with pending formal charges being filed by the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office. 

Police say included charges may be aggravated robbery and theft of property.

The Arkadelphia Police Chief Jason Jackson would like to extend his appreciation to Clark County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.
