NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR — Condolences and well wishes continue to pour in for Arkansas Forestry Commission Pilot Jake Harrell, whom searchers found in Montgomery County on Tuesday.

The twelve day search ended after crews found Harrell and plane wreckage in the dense Ouachita National Forest.

Pastor Rod Loy of the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock has spent many hours with the family, providing them with comfort and helping them with funeral arrangements.  He said they’re remembering the good times with Jake, and they will remember him with laughs.

But there will be mourning because of the great loss suffered, and so many people already miss him.

Pastor Loy said they’re indebted to all the searchers who didn’t give up in looking for Jake.

“The attitude and spirit and love of the searchers, the love for Jake, and love to his family have been remarkable. It’s the best of Arkansas.” Loy said.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, February 15, at the First Assembly of God, located at 4501 Burrow Drive in North Little Rock, at 10 a.m.
