7th Seeded Razorbacks Ousted in First Round of NCAA Tournament with 79-62 Loss to 10th Seeded Butler

The No. 7 seeded Razorbacks third trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last four years ends in the 1st round following a 79-62 defeat at the hands of No.10 seeded Butler.

Arkansas struggled to start the game, going down as much as 21-2. But Arkansas never went away, going on a 24-6 run to pull within one with just over four minutes to play. CJ Jones would give Arkansas their first lead of the game with a 3 pointer with 3:50 to play. But Arkansas would go into halftime down 36-31.

The Hogs couldn’t carry the momentum into the second half. Allowing the Bulldogs to outscore them 43-31.

Arkansas finishes the season 23-12.
