150 Teachers to Be Honored by Coke, Kroger

News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- One-hundred-fifty Arkansas teachers will be honored by Coca-Cola and Kroger this weekend.

Volunteers spent the day packing up gift boxes for the first “Stars in Education” event.

Each selected teacher will also receive $500 each, to refresh their classrooms.

“The teachers invest out of their own pockets,” says Devin Dunnaway with Coca-Cola Consolidated. “So to be able to come by and support them, it really means a lot.”

The selected “Stars in Education” teachers are from seven school districts throughout central Arkansas.
