LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The Arkansas Urban Forestry Council welcomes competitors from across the nation to the second annual Natural State Tree Climbing Championship in Little Rock this weekend. 

The competition will feature tree climbers of all skill levels to compete in a two-day trial of competitions including throwline, open ascent, work climb, aerial rescue and master’s challenge. Preliminary competitions will take place at MacArthur Park, 601 E. 9th St., Little Rock, starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. Finalists will compete in the master’s challenge starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 5.
