1 Juvenile Shot After Fight Outside NLR High School Football Game

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.– North Little Rock Police locked down the NLR High School Stadium around 9:30 p.m. Friday night while they investigated a shooting outside the stadium in the high school’s parking lot. 

Sgt. Brian Dedrick said multiple fights broke out inside the stadium during the NLR High School football game. He said officers ejected several people for  fighting  inside the stadium prior to shots ringing out. 

Police said around 9:30 p.m. Friday a fight broke out in the high school’s west parking lot when “numerous rounds” were fired. 

Sgt. Dedrick said 2 ricocheted bullets hit 1 juvenile who was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Officers lifted the lock down at the stadium around 10 p.m. 

NLR police are still investigating if the victim was involved in the fight.

Police say they are looking for suspects.
