Arkansan Barrett Baber find out tonight whether he’s one of four finalists on NBC’s hit show “The Voice.” The final nine contestants performed Monday night. Voting occurred through 11 a.m. today and the results will be revealed tonight.
It’s believed the top 3 vote earners will automatically make the finale. The bottom 3 earners will be eliminated. And here’s why you need Twitter…
The middle 3 contestants will perform and then compete in a live Twitter vote to determine the 4th finalist.
This means if Barrett doesn’t land in a top 3 spot, his fate will be decided by people on Twitter. That’s only people who have a Twitter account. And that, my friends, is why it’s time for you to sign up!
During a period of just a few minutes this evening, Twitter users will be asked to tweet #VoiceSaveBarrett (or #VoiceSave followed by the name of a contestant). The singer that receives the most tweets or retweets in that period of time advances. The other two performers head home.
Maybe Barrett makes the top 3 and you don’t have to worry about it….
