LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Arkansan Barrett Baber finds out tonight if he makes the Top 4 on “The Voice.”
After choosing country classics in his last two performances, on Monday night the Fayetteville singer-songwriter performed a newer pop song, “Ghost” by British singer Ella Henderson. Click here to watch.
It’s a song that was a challenge for Barrett. This weekend he tweeted “I’m working harder than I’ve ever worked on a song for this week. This one is asking a lot of me and I’m giving it all I got,” he said.
After the performance Barrett said, “I feel really good. I’m really at peace with whatever the result is. I believe in the people of Arkansas and my fans there and my fans nationwide now, that they’re going to rally behind me and do what it takes to send me to the top four. With that performance tonight, I think probably people saw me get emotional at the end and it’s because I really was giving up some of my own ghosts tonight, you know, just giving up that self doubt I’ve had you know kind of creeping for years and years and feel like this was really a cathartic experience for me and I was really pleased with how it turned out.”
You have until 11 a.m. Tuesday to vote for Barrett.
