NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- One of the men arrested in connection to the wreck that killed a 12-year-old girl, is now facing a manslaughter charge.
Prosecutors upgraded charges against Michael Scales, 30, who is accused of causing a street racing wreck that killed his 12-year-old daughter to manslaughter and racing on the highway and endangering the welfare of a minor charges.
Scales originally faced an endangering the welfare of a minor charge.
According to court officials, the upgraded charges were filed Tuesday.
Scales is expected to be arraigned at North Little Rock District Court on Thursday.
According to North Little Rock Police, a prosecutor is still reviewing a file on Brandon Rogers, 29, who also faces an endangering the welfare of a minor charge in connection to the fatal wreck.
Both Scales and Rogers are being held at the Pulaski County Jail.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Two men are facing charges in connection to an accident that killed a 12-year-old girl, according to North Little Rock Police.
The accident happened on June 6 near Riverfront Drive and Olive Street. Aniyah Dilworth later died at the hospital.
Brandon Rogers, 29, was arrested Tuesday, and faces an Endangering the Welfare of a Minor charge.
Michael Scales turned himself in Wednesday, and also faces an Endangering the Welfare of a Minor charge.
Rogers and Scales are being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Additional charges for the incident are under review with the Pulaski County Prosecutor's Office.
Arkansas County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a shooting Thursday.
Police accuse them of assaults that happened this month.
