Mallory Brooks

Mallory Brooks anchors Arkansas Today and KARK 4 News at 4pm.

She came to the station in September of 2007 as a general assignment reporter, covering everything from the presidential election to protecting homes from criminals. She quickly moved up to anchoring KARK 4 Today.

Mallory has always had a passion for journalism. After majoring in Mass Communications at the University of Central Arkansas, she began her career in front of the camera as a general assignment reporter at KFSM Channel 5 in Fayetteville. While in Northwest Arkansas, Mallory covered a wide range of events, from Razorback football to a visit from President George Bush.

A Russellville native, Mallory loves the southern charm of the people and the beauty of the Natural State. Now calling Little Rock home, she loves meeting new people and telling their stories.

Mallory loves animals, especially those that need to be adopted. She found her dog, Ellie, at the animal shelter when she was doing a story on stray dogs! When she’s not working, Mallory likes to spend her time baking, traveling, running, volunteering with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Chicago Cubs.
