PTN Extra: Hogs Hitting the Long Ball in Bunches in Record-Breaking Season

With one swing from Carson Shaddy that produced three runs in a five-run first inning Monday Night, Arkansas broke the single-season school record for home runs. That bomb from Shaddy was the 93rd on the year for the Hogs.  Eric Cole tacked on another late in the decisive game three of Super Regionals against South Carolina giving Arkansas 94 heading into the College World Series.

With Arkansas ranked second in the SEC in home runs, the leadoff hitter and slugger from the three spot sit tied for the team lead with 14 taters on the season.  Cole and Heston Kjerstad lead Arkansas during this power surge with Casey Martin and Carson Shaddy tied for second on the team with thirteen.  Luke Bonfield and Dominic Fletcher have eight dingers apiece, and Grant Koch has left the yard seven times.
