LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of northern Arkansas until 4 p.m. Sunday.
Light snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible with this system. The highest snowfall totals are expected north of Jasper, Marshall, and Mountain View, according to the National Weather Service.
Elsewhere in the advisory area, accumulations should generally be around half an inch.
Light snow will continue to fall across portions of northern Arkansas through the morning and into the early afternoon hours.
As of 6:30 a.m. Sunday, iDrive Arkansas was reporting some partially covered roadways leading to delays north of Russellville.
Even if this system doesn't affect you, stay weather aware. A second system is expected to bring snowfall to Arkansas Monday into Tuesday.
