LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A student at Parkview High School has been arrested after being accused of making a school threat.
The 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon, according to a Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) incident report.
The teen has been charged with Terroristic Threatening.
The police report states that school officials went to the boy's classroom after receiving
"information that a student, while in class, was possibly cutting himself and may have a kill list."
The report notes the student was not injured but had a "notebook with names of other students and types of weapons to use."
The teen was taken to the LRPD's 12th Street offices and interviewed by juvenile detectives with his parents present. The police report notes that the boy's demeanor was "apologetic."
In the last week in Arkansas there have been at least 20 other reported threats to schools that have led to investigations and arrests.
